The aim of Detox & Relax is to support and promote a relaxed
and healthy lifestyle in the midst of the demands of the hectic society we live in.
This is achieved through carefully chosen massage treatments combined with an evaluation of
lifestyle and habits.
The approach is holistic. This means that apart from offering individually suited massage
we also consider the various aspects of the client's daily life, looking for balance.
The massage treatments stimulate circulation and help to release tensions, thus helping to
overcome stress related conditions and promoting body's own ability to heal.

PHYSIOLOGICAL EFFECTS OF MASSAGE
The joints / skeletal system:
Massage can help to increase joint mobility by stimulating the formation of synovial fluid.
It helps to free adhesions, break down scar tissue and decrease inflammation.
As a result it can help to restore range of motion to stiff joints.
Massage improves muscle tone and balance, reducing the physical stress placed on bones and joints.
The muscular system:
